Superior

I have a full 3/2 and a traditional l/s with legs just above the knee. I wanted a second l/s spring suit with the booty-cut so that I can wear my shorter board shorts. I tried the Roxy Synchro and the Billabong Surf Capsule. By far, Roxy has a superior quality. The 2mm on the Roxy is sufficiently thick and feels more durable and thick than other brands. In this model (the Roxy XY 2mm spring suit), the glued and blind stitched seamless construction really make a difference in overall warmth and comfort. This suit is also the most flattering cut that I tried. Several of the others cut off at the waist and create a boxier look, but this wetsuit elongates the waist and has very smooth and clean lines.

Aside from the superior construction (durable, thickness, shorts stay in place and don't ride up), the front zip is a matter of preference. I personally still prefer the back zip because the front zip doesn't create a full, tight seal around the neck in the same way but this has not been that problematic.

Overall, the Roxy suits have a superior construction compared to other brands (with the exception of O'Neill), particularly in the 2mm category. This suit is much, much more flattering than any other spring suit on the market right now, even compared to Roxy's other models.

Perfection! Unbelievably Beautiful and it works!

I purchased this suit a 3 others from Pleasure Sports. The long sleeves are so stretchy - I don't feel like I have a wetsuit on. The front zipper is so easy to get in and out of. The legs feel great and no water came up! I stayed warm without overheating. I swim daily and we surf one a month when we drive to the beach. This is my new favorite thing! Really nice people at pleasure sports. Amazing selection of women's Roxy Wetsuits and Surf Capsule wetsuits. I wear the blue seventy swimming socks because I don't like my feet touching anything underwater. I also wear the Billabong 4/3mm chest zip womens wetsuit for diving. My boots are the Roxy Syncro boots for that suit. I also own the superfreak boots by O'Neill with the drain holes. I am a water girl, what can I say. Bottom line - Shop here for the best prices and people.
