Women's springsuit wetsuits are made for water conditions that are 67° Fahrenheit and warmer. These suits are also called shorty wetsuits. Springsuits are often worn in the spring and in water warm conditions and are usually between 2 & 3mm in thickness. Sprinsuits can come in short sleeve, sleeveless, and long sleeve styles. We feature plus size sprinsuits in 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24. These wetsuits provide thermal protection for activities like surfing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling, recreational swimming, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, wakeboarding and more. These wetsuits are available in chest zip, front zip, & back zip options. GBS seams are warmer because the seams are sealed.
The most common women's springsuit is the back zip style. The benefit of back zips are the length of the zippers and the simplicity of entry into the wetsuit. Back zips come in a variety of stretch and thicknesses. Choose from .5mm, 1mm, 2mm, & 3mm women's springsuits on our site.
Front zip women's springsuits have a zipper going down the front of the wetsuit. Front zip entry systems allow women to step into one of the legs of the suit and zip into the rest of the suit making it flexible and easy to get in and out of. There are long sleeve short sleeve springsuits, these types of front zip suits can also be called wetsuit jackets or shortys. The long sleeve wetsuit jacket can be worn as separate or over a long jane wetsuit. When the long jane wetsuit is layered with the wetsuit front zip jacket they are called two piece wetsuits or combo wetsuit. You can find women's combo wetsuits and front zip wetsuit here at PleasureSports.com.
Chest Zip springsuits have a zipper going horizontally across the chest. Chest zip wetsuits allow for more stretch along the back of the wetsuit. Because these suits take more manufacturing time, they tend to cost more.
